Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using webpconvert.cloud (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a free, browser-based image conversion tool. All conversion is performed locally on your device by code delivered to your browser. We do not receive, process or store the files you convert — see the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• process material you do not own or have the rights to process, or that infringes another party’s intellectual property;
• process content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, including child sexual abuse material, which we condemn absolutely;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
• redistribute the Service as your own product, or scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others.

Because processing is local, we cannot inspect or moderate what you convert. Responsibility for the legality of your files rests entirely with you.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Image conversion is lossy by nature for several formats, browser codec support varies, and results may differ between devices. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any conversion will meet your requirements.

5. Keep your originals

Always retain a copy of your original files until you have verified the converted output. We hold no copy and cannot recover or re-run anything for you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebP Converter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or business, arising out of or connected with your use of or inability to use the Service — including damaged, corrupted or lost images. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed USD 100 or the amount you paid us for the Service (which is zero), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those places these limits apply only so far as the law permits, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Third-party services

The Service may include hosting, analytics or advertising provided by third parties, each governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights in the files you convert; we claim no licence over them (which would be difficult, since we never receive them). The site’s name, design and code remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without depriving you of the protections of mandatory consumer law where you live.
