Choose your direction
| I want to | Use | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Make a PDF from photos | JPG to PDF | One document or one PDF per image |
| Make a PDF from screenshots | PNG to PDF | Sharp pages for sharing and printing |
| Turn a PDF page into a picture | PDF to JPG | One JPG for each page, in a ZIP |
Images to PDF
- Add images in the order you want the pages.
- Make sure PDF is chosen under “Convert to”.
- Choose “PDF page size”: Same as image, A4 or US Letter.
- Switch on “Merge all images into one PDF” for a single file, then download.
PDF to images
Upload a PDF and every page becomes its own image. They are downloaded together as a ZIP, and the tool supports up to 100 pages. Choose JPG for smaller pages with photos, or PNG when the page is mostly text or line drawings.
Practical uses
- Combine receipts into one expense report.
- Send scanned homework as one file.
- Share a single page of a report in a chat.
- Put a page of a PDF into a slide.
Tips
Order your files before merging, choose A4 or US Letter for printing, and use “Same as image” when you want no margins. If the final PDF is too large for email, reduce image size first.
Picking a page size for your PDF
| Page size | Best for | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Same as image | Photos and screenshots | Each page matches its image with no extra margins |
| A4 | Printing and official forms outside North America | Image fitted onto a standard sheet |
| US Letter | Printing and forms in the US and Canada | Image fitted onto a standard sheet |
Keeping PDF files small enough to email
A PDF made from photos can grow quickly, because each picture is placed in full. To keep the file light, resize the pictures with Max width (optional) before building the PDF, or use fewer pages per document. If one image is much larger than the rest, replace it with a smaller version.
Scanning tips for better pages
- Photograph pages in even light with the camera held straight above the sheet.
- Crop away the table and shadows before converting.
- Check that small print is readable at full size.
- Name files with numbers so they stay in the right order.
Privacy for sensitive documents
Everything in this converter runs inside your browser, so contracts, IDs and medical letters are not uploaded. Still, avoid using shared computers for confidential files and clear your downloads when you are done.
For page images with sharp text and diagrams, see PDF to PNG, and for smaller photo-style pages use PDF to JPG.
