Photograph documents so the PDF looks professional
- Shoot in even daylight and avoid shadows from your hand or phone.
- Hold the camera directly above the page so edges stay straight.
- Crop away the table or background before converting.
- Check that text is readable at full size, because a blurry photo gives a blurry PDF.
- Name or order the files first so the pages land in the right sequence.
Reducing the size of a large PDF
A PDF built from phone photos can be heavy, because each image is placed in full. To keep the file light, make the pictures smaller before you build the PDF: convert them with a lower Quality value or a smaller Max width (optional), then merge them. Fewer pixels per page means a smaller final document that is easier to email.
