RAW to JPG Converter – CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG & More

This RAW to JPG converter turns camera RAW files from Canon, Nikon, Sony and others into ordinary JPG pictures you can open, share and upload. Drop your RAW file below and download a JPG, with no Lightroom or camera software required.

Convert CR2 to JPG

Add your CR2 files, check the settings and download them as JPG. Batch conversion, no sign-up and no watermark.

What a RAW file is

A RAW file holds the unprocessed data from your camera sensor. It has more detail and more room for adjusting exposure and color than a JPG, which is why photographers shoot it. The drawback is size and compatibility: RAW files are large and ordinary viewers, websites and phones cannot open them. Each camera maker also uses its own format.

Convert a RAW file

  1. Add your RAW file with drag and drop or “Choose files”.
  2. Keep JPG selected under “Convert to”.
  3. Set “Quality” and “Max width (optional)” for the output size.
  4. Wait for the server to process the file and download the JPG.

Server processing and file size

RAW files are developed on the server, because browsers cannot read them. Your file is uploaded, converted and deleted immediately after conversion. RAW files are large, so upload time depends on your connection, and the server has a maximum file size.

Default processing, not a full edit

The conversion applies standard processing to produce a normal-looking picture. It does not replace a RAW editor. If you need careful control over white balance, highlights and noise, develop the file in Lightroom, Capture One, darktable or the camera maker software, then export a JPG.

Tips for RAW conversions

  • Convert one test file first to check the look before processing a batch.
  • Use quality 90 or higher for photos you may print.
  • Keep your original RAW files, since conversion cannot be undone.
  • Use “Max width (optional)” to make smaller web copies.
